We are a close team of 25 made up of developers, technology lovers, and innovative thinkers and locking technology is our business. We offer the only wireless smart lock platform that allows other companies to create and offer their own smart lock solutions.
What you'll do
As the Security Officer you will be the face and voice of our Security policy, both internally and externally. This position requires communication and business skills as well as sound knowledge of IT systems and processes.
Your goal is to position Clay as global thought leader on security in the Cloud Access Control market. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining and communicating a security roadmap for Clay. You will implement control processes, structures, routines and tools for grounding security as a core discipline in the company. This will include hosting workshops on the topic and become a member of local and international groups and/or organizations. You will be the single point of contact for information security and lead online webinars to stakeholders as well as assist in commercial processes if needed.
As the Security Officer you will manage and collaborate with a consultancy agency to acquire ISO 27001 certification for Clay. You will be responsible for the internal and external documentation structure on information and data security. You’ll finalize the ISO certification for Clay and when done also implement ISO 27001 process for Salto Systems, the mother company of Clay in San Sebastian Spain.
Technical skills and expertise
Relevant professional experience in the Information Security Domain.
Has studied Business & IT Management, Business Information Systems or a different quantitative or IT related subject.
Has a deep intrinsic interest in (Cloud) Information Security and also has the intrinsic tendency to educate the world about it. Likes to speak at conferences and be Clay’s face as the ‘thought leader’ in cloud access control information security.
Has the detailed oriented focus and subtlety to be able to create accurate Information Security documents.
Can act as “The specialist” in a small team. Although you will work closely together with colleagues with different disciplines, you carry end-responsibility by yourself.
Has experience with formalizing Information Security processes.
Has worked at an ISO 27001 certified company or with a consultancy firm that facilitates ISO certification processes.
